After a week of activities and spaces of meeting and dialogue in what has been this Virtual FSMET, the moment of closure arrives where we want to share the work done not only during this week but in all this process of two years and look to the future because we want this to continue!

For this reason, we invite you to join this plenary space where the networks and confluences that have been participating in this Forum will intervene. We will share the most outstanding elements of this process and the most important contributions that will be part of the Pact and Agenda for Transformative Economies.

We will also have a cultural moment where the following artists who have wanted to support this Forum will speak:

Masha Alyokhina (Pussy Riot) member of Artists at Risk (AR) International Advisory Board. AR is working on an emergency fund to support artists who face threats to their freedom or their lives while also at risk from Covid-19. Artists at Risk (AR) has a strong history of supporting artists. Since 2013, it has created 17 AR residencies for artists in 14 countries, including Spain, Finland, Germany and Tunisia, which provide temporary AR residencies for artists who face persecution or imprisonment for exercising their right to freedom of expression. The programme has assisted artists from Brazil, Syria, Viet Nam, Egypt and Kenya, among other countries. +info

Thiat: Rapper, member of the duo Keur Gui and also a founding member of the collective Y'en a Marre, a group of Senegalese rappers and journalists created in 2011 to protest against the government and encourage youth to register to vote. They are credited with mobilizing the youngest vote in the Senegalese population for the 2011 elections and thus overthrowing President Abdoulaye Wade, who had been president of Senegal from 2000 to 2012. Thiat is one of the visible faces and one of the pillars of the formation and expansion of Y'en a Marre, which is characterized by its non-violent activism based on the use of culture and music to raise awareness and mobilize broad social strata that are usually little heard.
