Mapping commission

During the last conversation, we continued with establishing the links to the forum registration platform join.transformadora.org. We seek to answer the question how to represent initiatives and organisations to be able to identify and search what participants are interested in and also to make public initiatives and activities for promotion of the forum. The functional requirements of the intent are described as - cartographic visualisation - tools to create directories - release the data freely to be reused within the multiple platforms - all data is licenced by the users as CC - the forum asks permission - reusable data API - interface organisation and initiatives visible in their territories, linked back to the forum database and are left here for discussion of resulting technical requirements to such an environment. Natacha, Simon, Tibor and me will be introduced to the CiviCRM developers by Jason and follow on afterwards.

@natacha and me are volunteering to bridge the organisational involvement of the Mapping Commission with the Link Group of the FSMET. @AlbaOrtega was so kind to describe what is now expected from us: > 1. Presence at the linkgroup meeting (when applicable, no need to do it always) > 2. Send convocactories of meetings and recaps after the meetings listing agreements, tasks and responsible > 3. update the Virtual Forum > 4. Find someone who facilitates meetings and takes minutes. We're looking forward to supporting the exchange between the FSMET groups by providing visualisations and data infrastructure to the forum.

We can use this space to brainstorm about concrete ideas and proposals to narrow down the scope of the mapping commission. So that during the next meeting we can start the discussion having clearer guidelines on everyone's output expectations and concrete proposals to develop during the process, as well as during the days in which the event will take place in Barcelona (25th - 28th June).

During the mapping commission on the 10th of December of 2019, a suggestion that arises is that the members of the commission brainstorm about the processes of decision making (including people's participation and contributions).
