Fair Trade Confluence: current and future challenges, and common agenda with other social movements
CONTEXT
The World Social Forum on Transformative Economies wants to “put people and the environment at the center of the economy and end the economy based on extraction, growth, competitiveness and the market” (and propose alternatives)
OBJECTIVES
- Identify current and future challenges of the Fair Trade movement
- Prepare a joint proposal on the issues to work for World Social Forum on Transformative Economies (June and October 2020)
- Discuss a common agenda towards October 2020
