- Activities/Forum Virtual: Maria

We're at an important time: REGISTRATION: the registration is being simplified to the maximum so that it can be published as soon as possible, a small working group (jason, pierre, nina, maria) was made to review the fields of the registration, etc. At the moment the idea is that you can register as an individual (to follow the news, etc) as an organization (and that as an organization you can propose an activity and/or initiative).

The initiatives are experiences, good practices, etc., that can be presented as an activity or that serve to nourish a database/mapping of initiatives and that also for the future activity of October of "We accept the challenge". On Monday there will be a meeting of the activities/virtual space to define the "own" activities of the FSMET (space for dialogues, FSMET assembly or whatever is decided).

Fer: I will insist on the self-management of activities as we don't have a technical team now and we are somehow powerless. Initiatives, we have to understand well how to deal with them.

Till when there will be the possibility to register? We have still to fix it.

Maria: difference between an activity and an initiative (is like good practice). Initiative can transform itself in an activity or later form part of a deposit of initiatives and may be linked with October phase.

Anna: I was also feeling confusion at the beginning, as it was not clear how decisions are taken.

- Communication: Josette

I'm involved since Monday, Juliette of RIPESS Europe was involved already. So I took the responsibility of being the facilitator of the communication space. We really need to produce quickly some FSMET material, we were working on a banner and a short text and we are planning to send it right away this week, saying theat the FSMET is online and people can register. We want to create all the mails in one list. We did it quickly, it was needed.

We have access to the cloud. Anyone wants to participate to the communication space is welcome, next meeting of this space will be on Tuesday. You can contact me in case: my mail is josette.combes@ripess.eu

Fer: we have a registration but it's not so easy, so we were thinking to make a short video (30 seconds) to explain what is an activity, what is an initiative and the challanges. We could create a repository/template of the self-managed activities, so it could be self-managed and it could contain all the info and images needed, with the logo of the FSMET. Fer will pass the template to communication.

Maria: I think that it's very important that you can explain which person is in charge about which duty, so all the networks can know with whom they have to contact. Josette says that in next meeting will clarify better the roles. We didn't have time to discuss deeper, we could takle the urgencies and manage things quickly.

Flora: is there any idea to update quickly the FSMET Facebook. Josette: yes, but we will discuss on Tuesday what kind of information is important. It has to be very alive and everyone should be able to contribute.

Flora from the Feminist Convergence would like to contribute to the communication space. Josette invites Flora to get in contact.

- Mobilisation, mapping and extension: Andrea

We had a meeting on last Friday, at the beginning there was some caos as it was not understood why the 2 previous commissions were joined in an unique space. We gave a message of operativeness. For the mapping the initiatives should continue to be self managed, while we should be more effective in the mobilisation. We should establish a referent person in each continent and then send all the information that will come from the communication space to send to all the mailing list.

On the other side last Sunday we had a quite interesting open meeting for contribution to the FSMET with new faces.

Fer. may be we couldn't transmit well the idea that mapping in this phase we were thinking as a support to extend the mobilisation task.

- Resources: Fer  

We had to reformulate and joggle with all the open projects. In principle the administration makes things easier for the Covid situation, but in reality it is complicated. We will be able to cover all the expenses of the money we recieved, thanks also to the support of RIPESS (with salaries of technical team) for 12.500€. XES 4.000 cash and REAS 5.000€ cash. So we are making again a call for support from the CC networks (from 2 to 5.000€) or if you know how to recover money/funds.

Mariana asks for a reference person to talk about possible funding.

- Public Policy: Sergi

We had a call, there were a lot of people, Xavi Rubio, Noelia Delgado and myself, we agreed on the organisation of a panel online event to showcase good practices of local authorities supporting transformative economies; second part should be allowing networks (RIPESS, GSEF and others) to see how they try to advocate with local authorities. And then we can see what we can achieve in October. We have a draft webinar programme, any suggestion is welcome.

Maria asks who will speak from local authorities. Sergi answers that mostly they were focusing on the good practices. Noelia was distributing a questionnaire to collect good practices of public policies.

Sofia: I'm working with CLU since a time and I can connect you if you are interested.

Maria: we have to make an inclusive programme taking into account the languages. We need to translate and include all and make this event really international.

Jason: we need to put deadlines as we need also to translate everything, we can dedicate a sub-group and we have to put this in the workplan.

Andrea: there was a list of volunteers for the translation.
